Treasury Launches Kids
- The U.S. Treasury launched Trump Accounts on July 4 2026, giving a $1,000 seed to each child born Jan 1 2025–Dec 31 2028.
- The Dell Foundation pledged $6.25 billion and will add $250 for newborns and for 25 million children ten and under.
- Eighty-three firms including Citi, Chipotle and JPMorgan Chase will match the seed.
- Treasury projects the $1,000 could grow to $6,000 by age 18, $15,000 by 27 and $243,000 by 55 without extra deposits.
