SpaceX Offers Relief
- SpaceX is providing free Starlink satellite internet service in Venezuela after the June 24 earthquakes.
- Service began for Movistar customers in La Guaira on June 28 and will expand to Digitel and Movilnet.
- SpaceX said the free service will stay available through July 25 while the U.S. government plans to send additional terminals.
- Venezuelan officials said on June 29 the quakes left 1,450 dead, 3,150 injured, 12,721 displaced and about 50,000 missing.
