A Turkey-EU High-Level Dialogue is set for July 2 in Istanbul to deepen trade, investment and financial cooperation.
Bilateral trade between Turkey and the EU reached about $233 billion in 2025, making the EU Turkey’s top trading partner and Turkey the bloc’s fifth-largest.
European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will travel to Turkey for the NATO summit on July 7-8, joining Kaja Kallas, while Ireland assumes the EU Council presidency on July 1.
