Malik Tillman's Quiet Rise: From Bayern Academy to USMNT Midfield Anchor at the World Cup

Born to German mother Anja and U.S. serviceman father Sheldon (deceased 2023), Tillman grew up in Nuremberg and Fürth. He and his older brother Timothy entered Bayern Munich’s academy, with Anja relocating to keep the brothers together.
