FIFA Shifts Kickoff
- FIFA is weighing moving England’s round-of-16 kickoff from 6 p.m. (1 a.m. BST) to 12 p.m. (7 p.m. BST) because of flooding.
- Mexico’s federation, which has confirmed talks about the change, is awaiting England’s FA decision while midday start would expose players to 23-25 °C at 2,200-metre stadium, which manager Thomas Tuchel says gives Mexico an advantage.
- Midfielder Morgan Rogers called the shift “just another obstacle,” while Marcus Rashford said the squad will stay focused.
