On 6 July 2026 the U.S. defense-technology firm Anduril Industries and Poland’s state-run defence group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) signed a cooperative agreement to assemble and later manufacture the surface-launched Barracuda-500M cruise missile at PGZ’s subsidiary Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze Nr 2 (WZL-2) in the western city of Bydgoszcz.
