Max Branning (Jake Wood), who is engaged to marry Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), has been caught in a weeks-long affair with Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy). In the latest episode Priya propositioned Max in The Arches, dropping her coat to reveal she was naked. Cindy and her daughter Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) arrived moments later, prompting Priya to be shoved into the boot of Vinny Panesar’s (Shiv Jalota) car. Lauren drove off, forcing Max to chase the vehicle and heightening Cindy’s suspicions. Cindy has already booked the wedding for New Year’s Day.
