Trump Administration Departs Kuwaiti Green-Card Holder After Anti-American Posts

U.S. officials are preparing to remove Tareq Alkhudari, a Kuwaiti national who entered the United States on a student visa in 2014 and obtained lawful permanent resident status in November 2024. Secretary of State Marco Rubio terminated Alkhudari’s legal status, and he is now in federal custody pending removal. The action follows a review of Alkhudari’s social-media activity that authorities say includes calls for violence against the United States and expressions of support for Hamas.

In December 2025 he shared a cartoon depicting a brown-skinned figure setting fire to an American-flag-draped woman. He also circulated graphics praising the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” the code name Hamas used for its October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, and questioned the sincerity of Western supporters of Palestine. Additional posts mocked a woman defending both Palestinians and Americans and threatened that President Donald Trump’s “Operation Epic Fury” would not protect him from Iranian missiles. He further posted a graphic wishing death upon Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Trump.
