Digwa Family Pleads Not Guilty to Multiple Weapons Charges After Henry Nowak Murder Conviction

Vickrum Digwa, 23, his brother Gurpreet Digwa, 27, and their father Moga Singh, 52, each entered not-guilty pleas to a series of offensive-weapon offences at Southampton Magistrates’ Court. The charges relate to alleged possession of three machetes, 37 swords, three ninja swords, two flick-knives or gravity knives, eight knuckle-dusters, an extendable baton and a manriki-gusari, among other items, at the family home on St Denys Road, Southampton, on 4 December 2025.

Vickrum Digwa was sentenced in June 2026 to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years for the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Henry Nowak on 3 December 2025 in Southampton. The Court of Appeal confirmed on 9 July 2026 that Digwa is pursuing an appeal against both his conviction and sentence.
