SFO Accepts Bids
- San Francisco International Airport will accept private-operator bids in September for a luxury terminal.
- The 75,000-sq-ft terminal will have separate TSA/customs lanes, a lounge and valet service.
- Bids run Sept. 30-Oct. 7, with a lease award expected by December.
- The terminal is slated to open in late 2028.
- Spokesperson Doug Yakel says AI-driven wealth demand drives the project and that the 14-year lease includes a $1.5 million first-year guarantee and 7 % of excess revenue.
