Almería Fire Kills
- A wildfire that began Thursday in Almería province of Andalusia killed at least 11 people and left 19 missing.
- Regional President Juan Manuel Moreno said the fire burned about 3,130 hectares, injured eight people, four critically, and forced the evacuation of 1,000 residents.
- Authorities deployed about 500 emergency personnel, 150 firefighters, 220 soldiers and 16 amphibious helicopters, citing preliminary reports that a fallen power line may have sparked the blaze.
