Music Box Films announced that it has acquired the North American home-entertainment rights to *“Wisdom of Happiness,”* a documentary executive-produced by Richard Gere and Oren Moverman. The film will debut on premium digital video-on-demand platforms across the United States and Canada on September 15, 2026, with pre-orders now available. Physical releases on DVD and Blu-ray are slated for a later date. The deal was negotiated by Brian Andreotti of Music Box Films and Jason Resnick of Autlook on behalf of the filmmakers.
Festival Premiere and Theatrical Run
Directed by Barbara Miller and Philip Delaquis, the documentary premiered at the Zurich Film Festival in 2024. It subsequently achieved notable box-office performance in Switzerland, remaining in the country’s top 10 for seven consecutive weeks. In 2025, Abramorama released the film theatrically at more than 175 locations throughout North America.
