Anurag Kashyap’s “Oh Flip Shorts” YouTube Channel Launches with Thriller “Incognito”

Indian filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane are introducing a new YouTube-only platform, Oh Flip Shorts, on July 15. The channel’s first offering is the psychological-thriller short “Incognito,” written and directed by Ravi Muppa and starring Vikram Singh, Ayushi Nema and Dev Chauhan. The story follows a cash-strapped motel receptionist who sells hidden-camera footage of guests, then must choose between self-preservation and rescuing a woman he records who appears to be a trafficking victim. The short has already screened at more than 20 international festivals, including the Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs International ShortFest.

Backed by producer Ranjan Singh, Oh Flip Shorts is positioned as a “premium home for groundbreaking short-form cinema,” releasing one curated title each month to build a community for independent creators. Kashyap will serve as curator, selecting works from filmmakers he admires, while Motwane and other directors will lend support for each release.

In addition to the short’s online debut, a feature-length adaptation of “Incognito” is under development. Hollywood-based Invention Studios is joining Flip Films and Campfire Studios as co-producers, with Kashyap, Nicholas Weinstock, Divya Souza and Singh attached as producers. Muppa, whose earlier credits include *Stree* (2018) and *The Family Man* (2019), described the project as “an incredibly special journey” and expressed gratitude to the producers and collaborators who enabled its expansion.
