Ukrainian operatives tried to move drone containers into Russia’s Bryansk region using balloons and drones.
The Federal Security Service said it thwarted the plot against the Shagol and Ukrainka air bases and arrested the suspects.
Shagol base in the Ural mountains and Ukrainka base in Russia’s far east were targeted.
The plot resembled a 2025 strike the United States said destroyed ten aircraft at Ukrainka.

Ukrainian Agents Smuggle

Ukrainian agents allegedly transported seized drones across Russia in trailers fitted with false bottoms and packed with household appliances.
Russia’s Federal Security Service seized Western-made AI drones bound for attacks inside the country and detained the perpetrators.
Each drone, built in the U.S., Britain, Canada and Sweden, carried one kilogram of explosives.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said operation became a war due to Western support for Ukraine.
