Sabres Re-sign Krebs
- The Buffalo Sabres signed forward Peyton Krebs to a four-year, $18 million extension with a $4.5 million cap hit per season through 2029-30.
- The deal avoided a salary-arbitration hearing set for Aug. 1, 2026 and triples his previous $2.9 million cap hit after a 2025-26 season with 12 goals, 39 points and six playoff points.
- The extension leaves about $4.2 million of cap space, completes the Sabres’ restricted-free-agent business and brings the roster to 14 forwards.
