Netflix’s “The Roman” Expands Cast with Five High-Profile Additions

Netflix’s upcoming eight-episode drama The Roman has added five actors to its roster: Vincent D’Onofrio, Kate Mara, Clancy Brown, Thomas Sadoski, and Jason Schwartzman. D’Onofrio and Mara join as series regulars, while Brown and Sadoski will recur and Schwartzman will appear as a guest star. Their roles join series lead Oscar Isaac and existing cast members Betty Gilpin, Alec Baldwin, David Costabile, Shalom Brune-Franklin, and Jimmy O. Yang.

Executive producers include Isaac, Koppelman, Levien, Martin Scorsese (via Sikelia Productions), Julie and Rick Yorn (Expanded Media), Paul Schiff, and Beth Schacter; JC Chandor directs the first two episodes.
