Cole Escola’s “Oh, Mary!” Launches Filmed West End Run at Trafalgar Theatre

The revisionist comedy “Oh, Mary!” begins its London engagement at the Trafalgar Theatre on July 20, 2026, with performances running through August 15. A limited subset of shows from July 20 to August 1 will be filmed under the direction of Sam Pinkleton, who also directed the original Broadway production. The filmed versions are slated for a future, as-yet-undisclosed release.

Cole Escola reprises the titular role, marking his first appearance as Mary Todd Lincoln on the West End stage. He is joined by Giles Terra as Mary’s husband, Bianca Leigh as Mary’s chaperone, and Tony Macht as the husband’s assistant for the July 20–August 1 window. Michael Urie, Emmy-nominated for “Shrinking,” returns as Mary’s teacher, while additional casting announced through September includes Jinkx Monsoon as Mary, Scott Karim as the husband, Dino Fetscher as a second teacher, Kate O’Donnell as a new chaperone, and Oliver Stockley as a new assistant. Producers Kevin McCollum, Lucas McMahon, Mike Lavoie, and Carlee Briglia oversee the production.
