Senate Candidate Mike Collins Linked to White-Nationalist Influencer Son-in-Law

Mike Collins, the Republican Senate nominee from Georgia’s 10th congressional district, has served in the U.S. House since 2023. A trucking executive endorsed by Donald Trump, Collins is described as an anti-abortion hardliner who has denied the legitimacy of the 2020 election and defended January 6 rioters. His son-in-law, David Alan Scheer II, is a white-nationalist social-media influencer with more than 1.5 million followers on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram. Scheer has posted fitness, Christianity and masculinity content alongside extremist material, including Nazi-era imagery, antisemitic conspiracy theories and calls to “clear our land of other people.” CNN reported that Scheer is registered to vote at a Collins-owned property, appeared in Collins’s campaign photos and attended Collins’s primary-victory party in June 2026.

When asked about Scheer’s online activity, Collins’s campaign declined to comment on the specific posts. A spokesperson told CNN, “Rep Collins’ lifelong support for Israel is unquestionable and backed by his consistent record in Congress of standing up for Israel and her people.” The campaign did not address questions regarding Scheer’s social-media activity.

Investigations highlighted Scheer’s promotion of white-nationalist ideology, repeated antisemitic tropes, and calls for the deportation of Muslims. He has shared infographics alleging Jewish control of U.S. politics, blamed Jews for a range of social issues, and invoked the “Jewish Bolsheviks” conspiracy. His posts have featured 1930s Nazi propaganda, a meme quoting a Nazi recruitment slogan, and a poll asking whether to produce a video titled “why Gen-Z doesn’t hate Hitler,” which he later deleted.
