Administration Officials Label Left-Wing Beliefs “Political Terrorism”

On Thursday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, and other senior Trump-era officials delivered speeches at a meeting of representatives from 67 countries in the United States. The gathering, titled “Resurgence of Political Terrorism,” was used to portray left-wing groups and their supporters as a national-security threat. Miller invoked National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 (NSPM-7) and called for “disrupt, identify, defund, debank, arrest, and prosecute these political terrorists.” Rubio pledged to “dismantle” left-wing “networks brick by brick.”
