Netflix Begins Production on a Reimagined “13 Going on 30”

Netflix confirmed on Instagram that it is rebooting the 2004 romantic-comedy *13 Going on 30*. The streaming service announced that Emily Bader and Logan Lerman will lead the new version, with Jennifer Garner attached as an executive producer and Brett Haley directing. Production officially started in Los Angeles in June 2026, though a release date has not yet been set.

Hannah Marks (writer of *After Everything*) penned the script, with Flora Greeson (credited on *The Princess Diaries 3*) providing revisions. Executive producers include Garner, Marks, Donna Roth, Susan Arnold, Scott Hemming, and Alyssa Altman, while Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum also serve as producers.
