Core Release Overview
Games Workshop will open pre-orders next week for a series of new Warhammer 40,000 miniature kits. The lineup centers on a boxed Exodite Kill Team, several standalone Kill Teams, new terrain boxes for Combat Patrol, and two Horus Heresy squads equipped with Mk IV power armor. All items are slated for immediate availability upon announcement.
Exodite Kill Team Details
The flagship Exodite box contains three Dragon Masters, two Drakolithes, ten Beast Snagga Boyz and five Squighog Boyz. The included narrative pits the Exodite Dragon Masters against a opposing Beast Snagga Ork unit, which can be used as non-player objectives in the set’s missions. The Exodites—Aeldari who ride dinosaurs—receive their first dedicated Kill Team update in several years.
Additional Kill Teams, Terrain, and Horus Heresy Kits
Standalone releases include the Spectre Squad (formerly part of the *Terror on Devlan* box), and dedicated kits for Kroot Farstalkers, Navy Breachers, Extraction Squad, Fellgor Beastmen, Raptors, and Kasrkin. New terrain boxes—Manufactorum Ruins, Capacitor Cluster, and Galvanic Network—each provide fifteen pieces of modular scenery.
For the Horus Heresy era, the Mk IV Tactical Squad offers twenty Tactical Marines with interchangeable vambrace parts, while the Mk IV Assault Squad supplies ten Assault Marines with bolt pistols, chainswords, and optional power-lance upgrades. An upgrade pack adds ten each of combi-volkites, combi-flamers, combi-plasma, combi-melta, and Astartes shotguns.
