Biopic of Streetball Icon Grayson “The Professor” Boucher Set for Production

Hidden Empire Film Group and its sports division, Hidden Empire Sports Collective, will produce a feature film chronicling the rise of streetball star Grayson “The Professor” Boucher. Award-winning filmmaker De Deon Taylor, also co-CEO of Hidden Empire, will direct and co-produce the project alongside Roxanne Avent Taylor, Jay Lyons, David Nurse, Jason Pamer and Neil Sacker. The screenplay is written by Brad Gann. Production follows Boucher’s re-engagement with AND1 in early 2026 as brand ambassador and director of talent.

Boucher emerged from Keizer, Oregon, as an undersized college player who earned a spot on the AND1 Mixtape Tour after an open tryout. He performed in more than 50 countries, gaining the nickname “The Professor” for his ability to “school” opponents. Beyond the court, Boucher built a digital brand with over 25 million followers and more than 5 billion organic video views, positioning him as a leading influencer in modern basketball entertainment.
