AMC+ Secures Exclusive U.S. Rights to Catherine Zeta-Jones Thriller “Kill Jackie”

AMC+ has acquired exclusive U.S. streaming rights to *Kill Jackie*, a gender-swapped adaptation of Aidan Truhen’s novel *The Price You Pay*. The series stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price, a former international cocaine dealer who has spent two decades living a lavish, anonymous life through sophisticated art-tax schemes. The plot turns when a hit-man squad called “The Seven Demons” is hired to eliminate her. The show will launch on AMC+ in the fall, while Prime Video carries it in several European territories and Canada, and Fremantle handles worldwide sales.

The project is co-produced by Steel Springs Pictures and De Maio Entertainment, with U.S. sales managed jointly by Steel Springs founder Peter Lawson and Lorenzo De Maio. Fremantle oversees sales outside the United States, and José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak supervised production in Bizkaia, Spain. The series is written by Tom Butterworth (known for *Gangs of London*) and Conor Keane (*North Sea Connection*), and directed by Damon Thomas, whose credits include *Killing Eve*. Zeta-Jones also serves as an executive producer.
