Four-Member Reunion and Anniversary Film Series

HYBE’s global communications team announced that NewJeans have assembled for a commemorative special-film series celebrating the fourth anniversary of their debut. The series, released under the “2026 Summer of NewJeans” banner, features group and solo vignettes starring MINJI, HANNI, HAERIN and HYEIN—the first official content with all four members together in two years. The mini-films include recurring motifs such as stuffed animals, origami, and a “Bunnies Scoop” ice-cream stand advertising a new flavor priced at $7.22, a nod to the group’s debut date. The final 59-second visual shows the quartet reuniting on a grassy field before the screen fades to a white rabbit, reinforcing the “Bunnies” fan-base theme.

Legal Background and Member Status

The reunion follows a protracted legal dispute that began with the original five-member lineup filing a lawsuit to terminate their contracts with HYBE. Korean courts ruled the contracts valid, leading ADOR to terminate the contract of original fifth member DANIELLE. Subsequently, HAERIN, HYEIN and HANNI returned to ADOR in 2025, while MINJI’s return remained “under decision” according to media reports. HYBE did not respond to a request for comment at the time of reporting.

Production Activities and Upcoming Plans

In April 2026, ADOR confirmed that HANNI, HAERIN and HYEIN traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, with staff and filming equipment. The label stated that the Copenhagen visit was part of the pre-production process to capture NewJeans’ new musical narrative. No official details about new music have been released, but the press release notes that any new release will be the first since the group’s last album, *Supernatural*, which is scheduled for June 21, 2024.

Anticipated Impact

The coordinated visual rollout signals a likely comeback after more than two years without new music. By reuniting four members and showcasing a cohesive aesthetic, the label aims to re-engage the “Bunnies” fanbase and set the stage for a forthcoming release that could restore NewJeans’ chart-topping momentum.
