JD Vance (R-OH), while former Secretary of State Marco Rubio trails at 26 %.
Support Levels and Favorability
Ocasio-Cortez enjoys a net favorability of +55 among Democratic voters, with 64 % holding a favorable view and only 9 % unfavorable. Buttigieg’s net rating is +54. Vance’s Republican base gives him a net approval of +62, compared with +53 for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and +49 for Rubio.
Official Reactions
Donald Trump, speaking at a White House event on May 11, praised both Vance and Rubio as a potential “perfect ticket” but stopped short of endorsing either, stating, “I do believe that’s a dream team, but these are minor details. That does not mean you have my endorsement under any circumstances.” — Donald Trump.
