The announcement also noted that Needham will reprise the role in the companion video-game *Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles*.

Series Background and Creative Team

*Batman: Caped Crusader* is a hard-boiled animated reinterpretation of the early Batman mythos, set in a 1940s-style Gotham. The series is created by Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves, and J.J. Abrams, with executive production by Abrams, Reeves, Timm, James Tucker, Geoffrey Thorne, Sarah Geismer, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register. Production partners include Warner Bros. Animation, DC Studios, Bad Robot Productions, and Reeves’ 6th & Idaho studio. Returning voice talent for Season 2 includes Hamish Linklater as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, Jason Watkins as Alfred Pennyworth, Eric Morgan Stuart as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Krystal Joy Brown as Barbara Gordon, Michelle C. Release Details

Both the ten-episode Season 2 and the *Chronicles* game are scheduled to launch on July 31. The season will be released as a full binge on Prime Video, while the game will debut exclusively on Amazon Luna and become available to Prime subscribers. The rollout will reach over 240 countries and territories.
