The trailer emphasizes the underdog premise of the coyote finally taking his “day in court.”

Warner Bros. Discovery originally completed production on the Dave Green-directed film in 2023 but shelved it that November, citing a $30 million tax write-off. The decision mirrored the studio’s earlier cancellations of *Batgirl* and *Scoob! Holiday Haunt*. Ketchup Entertainment acquired the project the following year in a deal reported to be around $50 million, positioning the movie as a rare example of a finished film revived after a corporate tax-driven shutdown.
