Roster Moves Following the Injury
Minnesota placed right-hander Mike Paredes on the 15-day injured list with a left oblique strain, retroactive to July 23. To open a spot on the 26-man roster, the club optioned right-hander Jack Anderson to Triple-A St. Paul and activated left-hander Connor Prielipp and right-hander Cole Sands from the injured list. Prielipp had been on the IL since July 9 because of a left-hand middle-finger blister, while Sands began a rehab assignment on July 7 and was reinstated the following Sunday.
