Dark Matter Season Two: Preview, Themes, and Upcoming Release

Apple TV+ is set to return with the second season of *Dark Matter* on August 28. The series continues the story of multiverse-traveler Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) and his family as they grapple with the consequences of the dimensional-travel device known as the Box. With no source material for the new season, creator Blake Crouch described the writing process as confronting “an endless corridor of doors,” aiming to expand the show’s scale, intensity, and emotional depth.
