The MOU follows a week of deals for AIDC at the airshow, including the renewal of a distribution contract with a major U.S. aerospace systems company that generated more than NT$22 billion (approximately US$680 million) in new civil-aviation and engine orders. The partnership builds on the Taiwan Excellence Drone International Business Opportunities Alliance, a collaboration co-founded by AIDC and the Metal Industries Research and Development Centre under the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
