Jay Baruchel, known for *Fubar* and *This Is the End*, will portray Chief Buck Bauer. Kevin Durand, seen in *Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes* and *The Naked Gun*, is cast as Nokes. Amanda Ip, who appeared in *Transplant* and *Plan B*, joins as Michelle Chang. Ciara Bravo, recognized from *Voicemails for Isabelle* and *The Most Dangerous Game*, will play Eunice.
Series Background
“Reacher” adapts Lee Child’s bestselling Jack Reacher novels, following the titular drifter—played by Alan Ritchson—as he travels the United States without a phone, confronting threats with his intellect and physical prowess. Season 5 is based on the twentieth novel in the series, *Make Me*. In this installment, Reacher’s train stops in the enigmatic town of Mother’s Rest, where he partners with a private investigator to locate a missing person and uncovers a lethal criminal conspiracy.
