The adaptation reunites Landon with Hendrix after Landon produced the author’s *My Best Friend’s Exorcism* for Amazon Studios. The novel had previously been slated as a series at HBO Max, with Andy and Barbara Muschietti attached as producers under their Double Dream label and Charlize Theron attached through her Denver and Delilah Films.
