Los Angeles model and influencer Adva Lavie, also known as Mia Ventura, was taken into custody by Beverly Hills police on Tuesday night. The arrest follows a violation of a court order that required her to wear an electronic ankle monitor while awaiting trial on felony burglary charges. Police also cited an outstanding warrant from Riverside County related to a separate grand-theft case. Lavie is expected to appear in court on Thursday.
Alleged Dating-App Burglary Scheme
Prosecutors allege that, between 2023 and 2025, Lavie used dating apps and “sugar-daddy” websites to develop relationships with wealthy older men and younger women in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, she then posed as a girlfriend or travel companion to gain entry to victims’ homes, where she allegedly stole cash, gold, credit cards and designer items. A separate Riverside County complaint accuses her of taking an approximately $8,600 Rolex watch, $700 in Louis Vuitton sunglasses and a $1,800 Louis Vuitton cardholder from a man she met at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival.
Legal Proceedings and Potential Penalties
Lavie faces six felony counts in Los Angeles County, including two counts of grand theft, two counts of first-degree residential burglary and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information. If convicted on all counts, the district attorney’s office says she could receive up to 11 years and eight months in state prison. In Riverside County, she is charged with felony grand theft for allegedly stealing more than $11,000 worth of luxury items; a $20,000 arrest warrant was issued after she missed a May arraignment.
Official Responses
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released a public bulletin identifying Lavie as the suspect and circulated images of vehicles linked to the investigation. Beverly Hills police confirmed that Lavie violated the terms of her release by removing the ankle monitor.
Upcoming Court Actions
A judge has revoked Lavie’s release, ordered her held without bail and set a bail-review hearing for Friday in Van Nuys. She remains unbooked in Riverside County, and no in-custody arraignment has been scheduled there.
