British alt-indie pop singer Rachel Chinouriri has revealed that her sophomore record, I Think I Spoke Too Soon, will be issued on October 16 through Parlophone/Atlas Artists. The album follows her 2024 debut *What A Devastating Turn of Events* and was recorded in London, Hereford, and Los Angeles. To introduce the project, Chinouriri released the synth-pop-tinged single “One Song Away From Crying,” which she describes as capturing the moment on a dancefloor when a night feels both exhilarating and draining, prompting a deeper reflection on self-value.

The album rollout includes a headline run of shows beginning in Los Angeles on August 26, then moving to Dublin, London, Brussels, Paris and additional European dates in September. Chinouriri will also appear at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival in California next month, sharing the bill with Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage and others. Later in the year she will support Gracie Abrams on U.S. dates, and in 2027 she is slated for two headline concerts in Australia.
