HBO has ordered a five-episode limited series titled “The Trial of Louise Woodward.” The drama, slated to premiere in 2027, dramatizes the 1997 case in which an 18-year-old British au pair was accused of shaking a baby to death while caring for the child of an American host family. The series will be led by actress Meghann Fahy, who returns to HBO after Emmy-nominated performances on “The White Lotus” (2023) and “Sirens” (2025).
