Bettergoods is a private-label brand sold only at Walmart. The pistachio nut butter was manufactured in Assoro, Italy, by Gustibus Alimentari S.r.l. and imported by Botticelli Foods. Routine testing by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) on July 17, 2026 detected Salmonella in three jars pulled from a Walmart location. Walmart was notified the same day, and the FDA posted the public recall on August 3.
