Trump Sees Cuts
- U.S. President Donald Trump sees employers cut 23,000 jobs and unemployment fall to 4.1%, the lowest since June 2025, after 264,000 left the labor force.
- Labor-force participation dropped to 61.4%, the lowest share since February 2021.
- A Federal Reserve study says the break-even hiring rate has fallen to near zero because of Trump’s immigration crackdown and baby-boomer retirements.
