Nolan Crosses $1 B
- Christopher Nolan’s film “The Odyssey” has crossed $1.008 billion worldwide after three weeks.
- It has earned $429.65 million domestically, $578.8 million internationally and $257 million from IMAX, and opened with $264 million before a 19 % second-weekend drop, a record low for a $100 million-plus debut.
- The film could claim the all-time R-rated record and become Nolan’s highest-grossing movie if it passes $1.33 billion.
- It will open in South Korea this weekend, China on Aug. 14, and Japan in September.
