Pillsbury, a Cape Elizabeth native, first broke through with the 2022 debut *Rx* and followed with *Kansas Anymore* in July 2024. (February 2025) later appeared on the deluxe edition of that album. The new record centers on a time-traveling character, Chuck Timely, and explores themes of love and single life.
The Portland performance marks the first stop of a worldwide itinerary that includes England, Ireland, Canada and more than two dozen U.S. cities. Later in September the tour reaches Oregon, and by the end of the month it arrives in Boston. A livestream of the Portland show is also available via the artist’s Twitch page.
