A court filing dated May 27 alleges that on June 8, 2024 Miller threw a pot of boiling water at Moreno during an argument, striking her chest while their eight-month-old daughter watched. The filing also describes a February 1, 2026 incident in which Miller allegedly grabbed and struck Moreno, leaving bruises on her arm, elbow and torso as their two-year-old daughter looked on. Earlier reporting from Politico in July 2021 cited three sources claiming Miller pushed former Trump aide Stephanie Grisham against a wall and slapped her after she accused him of cheating. Miller has denied all accusations, filed a defamation suit against Moreno, and on August 2 released a trove of documents he said proved his innocence, including a photo of his toddler that he later blamed on his attorney.
Corporate Financial Support
Despite the allegations, dozens of corporations continued to fund Miller’s campaign this cycle. Companies that donated $2,000 or more include Stanley Black & Decker, AT&T, Kroger, DraftKings, Nike and Walmart. Additional contributions arrived after the Daily Mail story, coming from Elevance, Altria, Pfizer, John Deere and TD Bank. Citi declined to comment when asked about its support.
