The company was the first UK auction house to adopt online auctions in the early 2000s and later transitioned fully to digital timed auctions, adding 24-hour timed sales in 2007. Today the group operates auction hubs in Derby, Birmingham, Bo’ness, Margam, and Zaragoza, Spain, alongside its Nottingham head office. The model blends traditional saleroom practices with high-volume web-based auctions that attract millions of visits each year.
Financial Scale and Workforce
According to financial accounts submitted to Companies House, the business sold roughly 40,000 lots weekly and recorded a profit of £432,484 in 2025 on turnover of £40,239,082. In 2026 the firm distributed a portion of its profits to a workforce of more than 600 employees after another busy year.
