Sony-owned developer Sucker Punch will release the Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 on October 1. The launch comes roughly one year after the original title entered the market. The Complete Edition bundles the base game with all newly announced content.
New Narrative and Gameplay Additions
The update introduces a narrative expansion titled Echoes of Sekigahara, which explores protagonist Atsu’s past across two distinct time periods. A new explorable area, refreshed weapons, enemies, armor sets, and dye options accompany the story. A single-player combat survival mode called Most Wanted is described by the developer as “our spin on a roguelike,” featuring bounty contracts, enemy takedowns, and combat perk rewards. The package also includes Ghost of Yotei Legends, the series’ online co-op experience.
Pricing and Upgrade Path
The Complete Edition is priced at $70, matching the launch price of the original game. Players who already own the base title can purchase an upgrade for $15, granting access to the new story arc, Most Wanted mode, and the additional content listed above.
