Kalshi, a leading prediction-market platform, announced a collaboration with Nasdaq Market Surveillance. The company says the integration will add extra security layers and enable continuous monitoring of trading activity across its markets. While Kalshi already conducts background checks on users and has internal safeguards against insider trading and market manipulation, the partnership is intended to provide an additional, industry-standard oversight mechanism.

Kalshi operates in all 50 U.S. states but has encountered legal obstacles in certain jurisdictions, limiting the availability of some markets. The platform serves as the official prediction market for the 2026 World Cup and offers a broad array of sports-related contracts, from season-champion outcomes to in-game statistics such as strikeouts or points scored. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has emphasized that it remains the sole regulator capable of overseeing prediction markets, and it also utilizes Nasdaq Market Surveillance for its own monitoring purposes.
