Eurovision Bars Hosts
- The European Broadcasting Union announced that 2027 Eurovision Contest will bar a winning broadcaster from hosting if its country is in an armed conflict or sensitive geopolitical situation.
- The rule could prevent Israel and Ukraine, whose 2022 win moved the 2023 contest to Liverpool, from hosting.
- The contest will raise the minimum age to 18, require live lead vocals, prohibit pre-recorded vocals, and have Bulgaria host 2027 while Canada debuts.
