The agreement sent $10 million to Hope Florida Foundation, which split the money between Secure Florida’s Future and Save Our Society from Drugs; those groups funneled $8.5 million to Keep Florida Clean PAC chaired by James Uthmeier. The funds helped defeat Amendment 3, which earned 56 % voter support but fell short of the 60 % supermajority required.
