New Premium Shop Collection Launches August 19
At the D23 2026 panel, community manager Courtney Shannon-Caines and the development team announced that a Premium Shop collection inspired by Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire will become available on August 19. The items are described as “superstar-inspired outfits” that let players style their avatars with 2000s-era fashion.
Seasonal Events: Oogie Boogie in September, Lilo in December
The same panel revealed a six-week Halloween event slated for September, during which the villain Oogie Boogie from *The Nightmare Before Christmas* will join the game as a new villager. The event will feature weekly quests and themed rewards.
A free holiday update is scheduled for December, adding Lilo from *Lilo & Stitch* so she can reunite with Stitch, who has been present in the game since its 2022 launch.
Upcoming Expansion: The Keepsake Sea
The panel indicated a showcase stream in October, suggesting the expansion could launch around November. The expansion is expected to introduce a new mermaid character and pirate-themed content.
Official Statements from the Development Team
They framed the upcoming content as a continuation of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s “constant expansion” strategy.
Platform Availability
The panel reminded viewers that Disney Dreamlight Valley remains available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Mac, and Apple Arcade, with all announced updates delivering across these platforms.
