Finlay Tarling Killed
- Finlay Tarling, 19, of the NSN Development Team, died after a vehicle struck him on the Melgaço-to-Fafe route of the Volta a Portugal on 14 August 2026.
- Organisers neutralised the stage with 23 km left and cancelled the podium.
- NSN Development Team said it was devastated and named parents Michael and Dawn and brother Josh.
- The Portuguese Cycling Federation, President António José Seguro and Major Tiago Machado offered condolences as an investigation proceeds.
