Yashar Party Presents Comprehensive Aliyah Absorption Plan

The Yashar party unveiled an absorption plan on Sunday that targets the arrival of two million olim (Jewish immigrants) by 2048, contingent on the party’s election. The plan is built around a “unified framework” that would coordinate resources for immigrants from the moment they are abroad through full integration in Israel.

Three pillars structure the proposal. First, the framework would streamline recognition of foreign academic and professional credentials, pairing international degrees with Israeli standards. Second, it would provide intensive professional-level Hebrew instruction and direct links to employers, aiming to place olim in jobs that match their skills. Third, the plan seeks to eliminate integration barriers by offering essential services—banking, social support, and other public benefits—in multiple languages, thereby reducing bureaucratic obstacles for newcomers.

Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot framed the initiative as a national imperative, emphasizing that Israel’s strength derives from “the ingathering of the exiles” and urging young Jews worldwide to return. Alex Rif, head of Yashar’s aliyah absorption program, characterized aliyah not as a charitable act but as the “miracle” that founded the state and enables its continued flourishing. Both leaders presented the plan as a strategic investment in Israel’s demographic and economic future.
