Cooper Kupp Launches Dodo Coffee’s First Brick-and-Mortar Shop in Fayetteville, Arkansas

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp and his wife Anna are part of an ownership group that has opened a roughly 500-square-foot coffee shop for the Dodo Coffee brand in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The shop replaces a temporary trailer that the group used after eminent-domain action forced the closure of its original 2024 storefront. The new location, designed by architect Jeffrey Dungan, is slated to open the next Monday.

Dungan created a “cathedral to coffee,” employing white stucco, a curved roof and large overhangs that he says are meant to make passersby pause. The design aims to turn a routine coffee stop into a memorable architectural moment.

Dodo Coffee sources beans from Indonesia, Ethiopia and Hawai‘i, and imports them to temperature-controlled warehouses to prevent mold. The company pays a premium to farms to address what Kupp calls exploitation and “lack of intention” in the coffee industry. After a washed process, the beans are roasted in-house, and special brewing instructions are provided for rare varieties such as the Geisha bean.
