Walmart Recalls Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kits Over Listeria Risk

On August 12, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced a recall of 3,240 14-ounce Marketside Tomato Bisque Soup Kits sold exclusively at Walmart. The recall follows a presumptive positive test for *Listeria monocytogenes* by Kettle Cuisine LLC, the product’s manufacturer. No confirmed illnesses have been linked to the kits.

The affected kits were shipped to Walmart stores in 29 states between June 30 and July 7. Packages bear UPC 194346474004 and a best-by/use-by date of August 22, 2026. Consumers who purchased the kits are instructed to discard them or return them to Walmart for a full refund.
